The VERSAPRINT Consortium is pleased to announce its upcoming Industrial Workshop 2026, taking place on 14 April 2026 in Grenoble, France.
This one-day event will bring together battery integrators, OEMs, advanced manufacturing stakeholders, researchers, and policy representatives to explore how modular 3D-printed battery components are reshaping battery system design, production, and integration across automotive, aeronautics, and waterborne sectors.

From Technology Innovation to Industrial Deployment
The workshop will guide participants from VERSAPRINT’s technological foundations to industrial deployment and sustainability.
The day opens with strategic perspectives on the future of battery manufacturing and an overview of the project’s modular building-block approach and key results.
Session 1 – VERSAPRINT Technology Showcase
Presentation of the core technological building blocks at cell, cell-unit, and module level, including application examples demonstrating their relevance for electrified mobility.
Session 2 – European Research Synergies
Insights from related EU-funded projects and a cluster panel discussion focused on bridging TRL5 to industrial deployment, with emphasis on validation, scale-up, and market uptake.
Session 3 – Cross-Sector & Sustainable Deployment
Sector-specific use cases in automotive, aeronautics, and other demanding environments, combined with discussions on eco-design, life-cycle assessment, circularity, and an industrial roundtable on scaling up printed battery systems.
