VERSAPRINT’s second consecutive year at the RTR Conference

The 9th edition of the RTR Conference 2026, held from 10-12 February in Brussels, once again was key in showcasing the latest achievements and advancements of EU-funded and Horizon EU projects in areas essential to the future of road transport.

The event covered themes such as Green Vehicles, Urban Mobility, Logistics, Intelligent Transport Systems, Safety, Automated Road Transport, and Batteries. The event offered three consecutive days of presentations, discussions, and networking activities, which concluded with remarkable participation of more than 700 attendees onsite, over 400 participants online, 95 projects presented, and 32 parallel sessions. Together, these figures reflect the strong momentum of how EU research is evolving to generate benefits to the environment, economy, and European society overall.

Within this context, VERSAPRINT was featured in session 12. Next generation battery systems for road transport and mobility applications, which also featured key presentations from the EU-INGENIOuS cluster.

Lisa-Lou Gracia, our project coordinator (CEA) introduced VERSAPRINT to the audience, outlining the project’s technological innovations and its commitment to sustainability in future battery system development.
